New MOU and partnership with Foreign Trade University

This past year, DCID facilitated the signing of an MOU between the Foreign Trade University (FTU) and Duke’s Office of Global Affairs. The five-year agreement is the initial step in formulating a more rigorous engagement with FTU with DCID playing an important role in assisting with curriculum design and course development for their path-breaking new Political Economy program, coordinating faculty and student exchanges, and participating in joint research and conferences.

DCID intends to play a similar role in a partnership being established with the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland focusing on research, and faculty and student exchanges initially.
